Mel Novoa

Mel Novoa is a 2nd grade teacher in Florida, who brings over 15 years of teaching experience. She has taught Prek-5 in a variety of roles but most of her time has been spent in primary classrooms. She has ESE, ESOL and Reading endorsements. She is passionate about many things including her family, students, literacy, student engagement and the teaching profession! The relationships she fosters with her students, their families and her community is very important to her. Mel has worked behind the scenes with numerous teaching conferences for many years and continues to love working with teachers and promoting fun, engaging and ELEVATING professional development. She believes that teachers deserve to experience meaningful, inspirational and empowering PD experiences that will help them grow as educators and bring back new research-based strategies to their classrooms.
